Choosing your perfect
Hawaii beach wedding location
Hawaii has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and many of them are here on the island of Oahu. Some factors to consider in choosing your ideal beach wedding location include where you will be staying, if you will have ground transportation, and whether or not you want a sunset beach wedding.
Below are images of our 6 most popular beach wedding locations from all different areas of the island. These include:
Magic Island beach park – Located on the south shore, this is a convenient and popular location adjacent to Waikiki.
Waialae Beach – Also close to Waikiki, Waialae is our preferred site for our Mai’ka’I gala wedding package but is also good for smaller, intimate ceremonies.
Makapu’u Beach – On the southeast shore, Makapu’u offers a secluded beach location for your wedding surrounded by lava rock formations and tidal pools with two islands featured as your wedding ceremony back drop.
Sandy Beach – Close to Makapu’u beach, Sandy beach offers a nice mix of a large sandy beach area combined with lava rock formations right on the shoreline. This a great spot for dramatic beach wedding photos.
Lanikuhonua Beach - A beautiful natural lagoon hidden away in the Ko'olna, 5 star resort area of Oahu. Great spot for sunset weddings.
Papailoa Beach – For a spectacular sunset beach wedding on Hawaii's famous north shore, our favorite spot is Papailoa beach where the hit television series Lost did a lot of it's filming.
