Our tradition Hawaiian Theme option Is included in all of our packages for that special island touch!
We begin with the blowing of the Pu, or conch shell. In ancient Hawaii as today this serves as a call to gather for a special occasion. Then, incorporated into your ceremony, is the traditional Lei exchange between the bride and groom. This is one of the highest expressions of Aloha, or love. Depending on your package this will be done with keepsake shell leis, or flower leis. For the bride we do suggest an upgrade to the beautiful orchid lei and for the groom we recommend the traditional Maile Lei. Leis may also be presented to your guests.
Our Unique Sand Ceremony Option
This is the beach version of what, in a chapel or church, would be the candle lighting ceremony with some variation. The couple each holds a bowl with sand in it representing the lives they once led separately from one another and the individual moments of those separate lives. Together they pour the sand into a third bowl representing their marriage union as their two lives are now joined as one. Our sand ceremony is extra special as it includes a personally engraved, keepsake wooden that is offered only by our company.
