Makapu’u beach is approximately 30-35 minutes from Waikiki and offers a secluded beach location for your Hawaii beach wedding or vow renewal ceremony. Surrounded by lava rock formations and tidal pools with two small islands offshore being featured as your ceremony back drop, Makapu’u beach offers spectacular wedding photography possibilities and one of the most secluded Hawaii beach wedding spots on the island.

Recommendations: Best for weekday morning or late afternoon wedding or vow renewal ceremonies. Mid-day weddings on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays should be avoided if possible. Commercial vehicles, including limousines are not allowed to enter the parking lot on weekends from Friday at sunset to sunrise on Monday.
